I was born and raised in Cleveland and have resided in Shaker Heights School for over 25 years.
After Cleveland Heights High School, I attended University of Wisconsin, The Ohio State University, and Cleveland State University Marshall School of Law where I graduated with a JD degree.
I practice law before all State Common Pleas and Appellate Courts, The Ohio Supreme Court, The Federal court in the Northern District of Ohio, The Federal Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the DC Federal Circuit Court of Appeals.
I have over 30 years of experience in various areas of the law including employment, personal injury, workers’ compensation, and other types of litigation.
I taught economics part-time at a local college and constitutional law to police officers at a community college. I was a former hearing examiner for The Ohio Civil Rights Commission and has served as an arbitrator.
I’ve represented employees, businesses and unions in federal and state courts in Ohio and elsewhere.
I am married to my high school sweetheart, we have three children living in Los Angeles, Chicago and South America and five grandchildren.
My hobbies include tennis, skiing, biking, and history, especially civil war history.
I am a member of various committees and boards, both civic and religious, which include fair housing and equal opportunity. I am a member of Ohio and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and Employment Lawyers Section.
